This beema lookalikey presumed Channel Wagtail (flava x flavissima) showed well on Tealham Moor this morning. Particularly concerning is the definately yellow throat. I didn't notice anything unusual about the call to suggest Sykes Wagtail.

This Shorelark at Barrow Gurney Reservoir was a great by Sean Davies. Photographing it was a compromise as getting too close would have justifiably upset the birders there to see this great bird. In the few hours I watched it, it moved no more than a few metres along the gravel track.
